For the period September ‘24 - January/February ‘25 we're on the lookout for a talented and creative compositing intern to join our team to work on exciting projects. We are looking for a student with a general understanding of film and VFX processes, experience in compositing software (Adobe After Effects and preferably Nuke), with a passion for working in the industry.

Our preference is for students who attend school and reside in the Netherlands and are able to work daily from our Amsterdam-based studio.

Planet X is a creative visual effects studio based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and one of the key players within the Dutch film industry. Empowering a dedicated team of 25+ highly skilled VFX artists and experienced supervisors, we provide creative visual effects for top-end feature film and television productions. Planet X is known for its unique creative approach, focusing on concept, design and execution of visual effects from pre-production to delivery.

internships

We take on internships for periods of 4 - 6 months. Spots are available in our 2D and 3D/VP department every first half of the year (January/February - June: decisions on applications will be made in October) and second half of the year (September - January/February: decisions on applications will be made in June). Please reach out to us if your school requires a decision outside of these dates. Students must have a general understanding of film and VFX processes with a passion for working in the industry. Our preference is for students who attend school and reside in the Netherlands and are able to work daily from our Amsterdam-based studio.
