Alex is a robot who has trouble interacting with normal people, and he hopes that an “emotion operation” will change this. When Alex arrives at the doctor’s office, we see a bit of his high-tech innards. A fairly small but technologically advanced opening at the side of his head was chosen.
The American magazine Spin declared that ‘A good year for robots’ was a must-see video.

The flap and the inside of his skull are completely CG (3D) and were tracked for both the camera and the actor. The markers were removed during compositing.
